Grade 7 Camping Field Trip

September 17th Updates

Grade 7's wrote a Math test today.  The Grade 8 Math test will be next week now.  Please check your child's planner for date.

LS!N had their first meeting yesterday.  Please return form and money if your child is interested in joining our service learning group at TCS.

Open House is on Tuesday September 23rd from 6-7:30pm.  Hope to see you all there!

Grade 7's camping trip is September 25th and 26th.  Permission slip and money can be handed into Mrs. Morrice.

On Friday September 12th, Mr. Sheppard and Mr. Rapsky took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!  All money brought in for Hat and Jeans Day on September 26th will be donated to ALS.

Biographies

Our first LA assignment was to write a biography on another student in our classroom.  We started by brainstorming and writing out questions to ask the other student when we interviewed them.  Grade 7 students were partnered up with Grade 8 students.  Our next step was to take the answers and create a rough draft of the biography on our new ASUS netbooks each student received on Tuesday.
When everyone has published their final copy by the end of this week, we will share them with the class so we can all get to know each other a little better.
