Today in Math we discovered the difference between prime and composite numbers.  Using the tile blocks made it a little bit easier and more fun!

I Am... Poems

All of our "I Am..." poems are done and hanging on our bulletin board for our parents to look at Open House next week.  We loved drawing our self portraits too!

Today we researched facts about the Sun and discussed what would happen to us on Earth if the Sun disappeared.

Terry Fox Run 2013

Our school once again participated in the annual Terry Fox Run.  It was a really hot afternoon, but we did our best to keep moving like Terry Fox did.

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to school! 

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and are ready to have a fantastic school year!

I have an awesome group of grade 5/6 students again this year and I am excited to be teaching them.  We have completed a lot of fun get-to-know-you activites and are just starting to introduce the clusters we will be completing this term.
