What a great way to end the week!   JUST DANCE 4 on the smartboard!

It rained in our classroom on Friday!  We all cheered when the water cycle experiment we did in Science class actually worked!

We learned about the land bridge theory in SS.  Here we are acting out this theory.  We loved being the hunters and the animals migrating from Asia to North America.

In LA we often do the Daily 5/CAFE program to practise our reading and writing.  Below are pictures of us doing our Word Work with a partner.

Our class took part in the FCC Food Drive organized by LS!N and our student council.  Our class came in second and brought in over 50 pounds of food!

Today we helped our Grade 1/2S  Reading Buddies practise their spelling words.  We had a lot of fun!

Wednesday 10 October 2012

In Art we sculpted fall trees out of brown paper bags.  Cool!

Wednesday 3 October 2012

Who knew pretending to be cold and warm air fronts could be so much fun.  Here we are acting out what happens when cold and warm air masses meet which creates our weather.

Even though some of us did not know what sport the Grey Cup represented, we know now.  We had a fantastic time visiting the Grey Cup Train this afternoon!

Monday 1 October 2012

Today we needed a break in Math class so we had Music Monday.  We love Music Monday because we are able to get out of our desks and dance around the room to the song Manic Monday by The Bangles.

On Sunday September 30th, Mrs. Morrice and some of her students participated with the school team called the Chancellor Tigers in the CIBC Run for the Cure in Brandon.

Here we are getting ready for the run. We put tattoos on our faces and spray painted our hair pink. We also wrote on our t-shirts who we were running for!

We had time before the run to take some group pictures.

The Chancellor Tigers won the award for the having the most members on a team and for raising the most money as a school team.  We raised an amazing $5240.00!!!  Way to go team!
