Mrs. Davis came as a guest speaker in Health class to share her dental health expertise. She even brought us toothbrushes and floss. Thanks so much for all your excellent advice on the importance of dental health and how to properly care for our teeth.

 

Mrs. Enn's and her grade 12 French students came over to our classroom throughout the month of November to present their French lessons to us. Their videos, songs and assignments made learning French extra fun!

We really enjoyed the French for Life guest speaker, Stephanie, who came from Winnipeg to tell us about the importance of learning French and how you may use a second language later in life!

Today was Miss Graham's last day with us.  We really enjoyed having her in our classroom and we will miss her! Above is a picture of us wearing our Movember moustaches we bought at the Student Council Bake Sale to help raise money for prostate cancer.

During the PAC Book Fair this week, our classroom got to pick out $50 in free books.  We are loving taking turns to read each of the new books.  Thanks PAC!

We worked really hard on our Science Design Projects and are very proud of all the weather instruments we created.

What a great way to end the week!   JUST DANCE 4 on the smartboard!

It rained in our classroom on Friday!  We all cheered when the water cycle experiment we did in Science class actually worked!

We learned about the land bridge theory in SS.  Here we are acting out this theory.  We loved being the hunters and the animals migrating from Asia to North America.

 

 

In LA we often do the Daily 5/CAFE program to practise our reading and writing.  Below are pictures of us doing our Word Work with a partner.

 

 

 

 

Our class took part in the FCC Food Drive organized by LS!N and our student council.  Our class came in second and brought in over 50 pounds of food!

 



 



Today we helped our Grade 1/2S  Reading Buddies practise their spelling words.  We had a lot of fun!

In Art we sculpted fall trees out of brown paper bags.  Cool!

Who knew pretending to be cold and warm air fronts could be so much fun.  Here we are acting out what happens when cold and warm air masses meet which creates our weather.
