Our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree!

Well there are only four days left of school and everyone is getting very excited for Christmas.  The students decided they all wanted to participate in a Secret Santa gift exchange, so our Charlie Brown Christmas tree has been set up and decorated! 

Cancer Care Presentation on Smoking

On Tuesday December 10th Janice Telford came to our classroom to do a presentation on making healthy choices as we grow older.  She talked about eating a healthy diet, but her main focus was on the dangers of smoking.  She brought a lot of visuals aids to explain the negative effects smoking can have on the body.  The students listened very well and asked a lot of great questions!

Staff vs Junior High Volleyball Teams!

On Friday December 6th, we had our annual staff vs student volleyball game.  The grade 7 and 8 junior high teams played extremely well, but the staff came up victorious! 

 

TCS Band Concert!

Our grade 6 beginner band performed three songs at our annual Christmas band concert on Thursday December 6th!  All the students did an awesome job!

National Sport Day!

On November 29th, all staff and students at TCS participated in National Sport Day during periods one and two.  We wore our favorite jerserys and got active at each of the stations Mrs. Nylen created!  A great time was had by all!
